mark d. buchanan

Biography:  Mark Buchanan is licensed to practice law in Arizona. His practice includes commercial and residential real estate acquisitions and sales, title insurance and condition of title analysis, land use entitlements, business formations and governance, and commercial and real property contracts negotiation and preparation.
Before joining Iannitelli Marcolini, P.C., Mark worked nearly two years at a non-profit law firm, the ASU
Law Group. There he assisted clients reach their goals at affordable rates while gaining litigation and
transaction experience under the mentorship of experienced attorneys.
Mark graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2018.
During law school, Mark externed for Justice Clint Bolick at the Arizona Supreme Court and for the ASU
Office of General Counsel. He was active in moot court participating in the Philip C. Jessup International
Law Moot Court Competition, the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition,
and the Spritzer Appellate Advocacy Competition. Additionally, he helped start-ups navigate business
formation at ASU’s Innovation Advancement Legal Clinic, guided new and prospective students as an
ASU Law Student Ambassador, and spent his 2L summer studying abroad in Antigua, Guatemala.
Prior to law school, Mark received a Bachelor of Arts in American History from Barrett the Honors
College at ASU. He went on to a Master’s of Secondary Education from Mary Lou Fulton Teachers
College also at ASU and taught history at the BASIS Charters schools in Phoenix and Scottsdale.
